In the summer of 2023, our team from Anne Education USA received the opportunity to travel to Pursat, Cambodia in person and collaborate with the teachers and administrators of Anne School to volunteer, teach English, and deliver several educational materials purchased through donations to several schools across the province.
With the help of our donors, 4 laptops were able to be donated to Mouly Tuolvat Primary School, Anne Kindergarten, Jummoni Village School, and Don Ey Primary School. In addition, 9 whiteboards went to the Pursat Church School, Floating Village of Kompong Luong, Jummoni Village School, and Don Ey Primary School and a cell phone was donated to Anne School. Lastly, over 500 books were donated to schools across the province to be used by students and teachers in the furtherance of their English education.
At several of these schools, our team also led classes teaching the English language to kindergarten to highschool level students at Anne School, Mouly Tuolvat Primary School, Srah Srong Village School, the Floating Village of Kompong Luong, and Jummoni Village School through dances, songs, books, and games.
Lastly, our team visited over 80 families in Pursat villages and 20 families in the Floating Village of Kompong Luong to deliver food supplies to families in need.
